Delete your account
Last updated 8 October 2026
This applies to Matrimony. The Bible and Tamil Christian Songs apps have no account to delete — uninstalling them removes everything they kept, which is the downloaded content on your phone.
From inside the app
Open Matrimony and go to Me › Delete my account. You’ll be asked for your password to confirm. Your profile disappears from search and matches at once, you are signed out on every phone, and we email you the date it will be erased.
Before you go, you can save a copy of your data from Me › Download my data.
Changed your mind?
The account is erased 30 days after you delete it. Until then, sign in to the app with the same email and password and choose to keep it. Your profile comes back paused, so you decide when to be seen again; matches that ended stay ended.
If you’ve already uninstalled it
Email support@tixfar.com from the address you signed up with, and say that you want the account deleted. We use the address to confirm it’s your account — so please write from that address rather than another one. We’ll confirm when it’s done, within 30 days and usually within a few.
What gets erased
- Your profile and everything you filled into it, including horoscope details
- Every photo you uploaded, and the photos and voice notes you sent in chat
- Your phone number, identity document, verification selfie and video
- The messages you sent: your matches see them as deleted in an otherwise unchanged conversation
- Your partner preferences, saved searches, shortlists and notifications
- Your devices, and your email address and sign-in details
What we keep, and for how long
Safety records stay: reports made about your profile, the evidence kept with them, and our team’s decisions. That is so somebody removed for harming other members cannot clear the record by deleting the account and signing up again. Files kept as evidence are deleted within 180 days. Our activity log (who did what and when, without any message or profile content) also stays. Your matches keep the outline of their conversation with you, without your words. The Matrimony privacy policy has the details.
Anonymous counts — how many accounts were created in a month, for instance — stay, because they are not about you and cannot be traced back to you.
